Large hardy Mexican sage with rose-pink flowers in late summer and autumn.

Sometimes known as the roseleaf sage it was introduced to Europe about 1881. A tall plant, just over 1m tall, ideal for sunny borders or wall beds. Flowers from August until it is cut down by the winter frosts. Re-growth does not start again until the warmth returns in late spring/early summer so don’t panic. Plant deep for best results.
