Lespedeza thunbergii
Tall arching stems of vibrant rich pink-purple pea flowers in late summer and autumn.
£9.50
This indigo relative demands a sunny position and prefers well drained soil. The tall arching stems begin flowering in September and continue in mild years into early November. Lightly staked the stems will waft in the wind or can be allowed to ‘fall’ over a wall or smaller shrub. Can be cut to the ground in late February or lightly trimmed, flowers occur on current years growth.
