Originating from North West Turkey and the Western Caucasus this is one of the green leaved species. Mine derive from old cultivated stock and have well developed foliage at the time of flowering. They make a pleasing contrast to the more typical snowdrops. The only downside to this species is that it can take a few years to settle and flower freely. February-March.
