Galanthus 'Lady Beatrix Stanley'
An old double with 'fang' like white outer segments.
£4.50
Originally sold as G.caucasicus double in the 1950′s this is a fine plant for drier gardens, indeed i’ve had trouble keeping it in the damper parts of my nursery display beds. It has now settled in chalky gravely soils amongst the roots of ‘Hosta Komodo Dragon’. Narrow white outer segments, described by Primrose Warburg as fangs, open widely to reveal the inner segments dotted with 2 green spots. Flowering is improved by division every few yearrs. February.
