I obtained this plant both from Andrew Byfield and John Gallagher and their clones appear to be the same. Very similar to G. Atkinsii and flowering at the same time but the outer petals are more rounded and perhaps a little thicker textured; the petals of G. ‘Atkinsii’ sometimes get transparent patches in cold wet weather, i’ve not yet noted this for G. Backhouse Spectacles.
